The brief
Overview
A full fitted kitchen — base units, tall units, integrated appliance housings and an island — currently in fabrication, with installation scheduled on completion of the flooring.
The challenge
The appliances were bought before the kitchen was designed, so every housing had to be built to a fixed set of dimensions we did not choose.
What we did
We modelled the layout around the appliances first and let the cabinetry fill in around them, rather than the other way round. Nothing needed to be sent back.
