The brief
Overview
Tall window units and supporting steelwork for a parish church, built to flood the hall with daylight without losing the building's character.
The challenge
Church windows are tall, and the congregation wanted light without the glare and heat that comes with a west-facing wall of glass.
What we did
Tinted glazing in slim steel frames cuts solar gain while keeping the sightlines the architect wanted. The frames were designed to echo the arched masonry openings rather than fight them.
